Your money.
Your phone.
Nowhere else.

A private expense tracker: paste a receipt or a bank SMS, scan a receipt, or import a PDF or CSV statement. It is all parsed on your device.

Third-party requests on this site: 0. Open DevTools and verify.

Numari Overview screen: $1,491.15 spent this month, an over-budget alert, spending insights and top category.

02 Private by design

Three claims. All checkable.

No account

There is nothing to sign up for. Open the app and start tracking. We couldn't email you if we wanted to — we don't know who you are.

Verify: first launch has no signup screen.

On your device

Every transaction lives in a local database inside the app's private storage. No cloud copy exists. Delete the app and the data is gone — that's the point.

Verify: the privacy policy — it fits on one screen.

No trackers

No analytics SDKs, no ads, no pixels — in the app or on this site. By default the app makes no network requests at all.

Verify: the store privacy label, once we're live.

Private budgeting, and how to check any app's claims

03 What it does

A real tracker, not a toy.

Paste anything

A receipt, a bank SMS, a push notification, a statement excerpt. Parsed on your device into transactions you review. No bank login, no permissions.

Scan a receipt

On-device text recognition. The photo never leaves your phone.

Cyrillic receipts are recognized on iOS; on Android, use paste.

PDF & CSV statements

Read on-device, column mapping remembered per bank.

A scanned PDF is an image with no text layer, so it cannot be read.

Crypto & exchange imports

Import exchange CSV exports too. Turn on live rates (optional) and old transactions are valued at their historical prices. No live connection required.

Real analytics

A spending heatmap, trends over time, top merchants — answers about your money, not just charts.

Budgets & fast entry

Add an expense in seconds. Set monthly budgets per category and always know what's left.

Subscription radar

Recurring charges are detected automatically, and unusually large or out-of-pattern spending gets flagged.

Biometric lock & local backup

Lock the app with Face ID or fingerprint. Export a backup file you control and restore it on any phone. No cloud in the loop.

04 How import works

Everything you import, reviewed line by line.

  1. Paste, scan, or pick a file

Paste a receipt, a bank SMS or a statement excerpt. Photograph a receipt. Or choose a PDF or CSV file. It is all parsed on your device.

  2. Review every row

The import queue shows each transaction with its suggested category. Fix anything inline, skip what you don't want.

  3. Confirm

Nothing is saved until you approve it. The file, image, or pasted text isn't kept after import.

What each import path can and cannot do

05 Honest answers

Questions we'd ask, too.

Does Numari connect to my bank?

No — and that is deliberate, not a missing feature. You never hand Numari your bank login, and no third party sits between you and your account. You bring the data in yourself: paste a receipt or a bank SMS, photograph a receipt, or import a PDF or CSV statement your bank exports. It is all parsed on your device and waits for your review.

Can it read a photo of a receipt?

Yes, and the photo never leaves your phone — text recognition runs on the device itself. On iPhone it reads both Latin and Cyrillic text. On Android the on-device recogniser has no Cyrillic model at all, so it cannot read a Russian receipt; copy the text and paste it instead. We would rather tell you that than pretend.

Does it read my email?

No. There is no Gmail integration and there will not be one: reading your mailbox would require handing us a Google account, which is exactly the thing Numari refuses to ask for. If a receipt arrives by email, share it into Numari — or copy the text and paste it. It gets parsed on your device, like everything else.

Where is my data stored?

In a local database on your phone, inside the app’s private storage. There are no accounts and no cloud — nothing is uploaded. The one optional network feature is live exchange rates (off by default), and it sends only currency codes and dates — never amounts, merchants or anything personal. The privacy policy fits on one screen and says exactly this.

What is free and what is Pro?

The core tracker is free. Pro is an optional subscription billed by the App Store or Google Play — never by us; we cannot bill you because we don’t know who you are. The exact free-vs-Pro split will be published here, plainly, before launch.

Will there be sync between devices?

No. Numari has no sync and no cloud, and that is exactly how your data stays on your device. Moving to a new phone takes one file: export a backup, carry it however you like, import it on the new device. Nothing passes through us.

How do backups work?

You can export a full backup file (JSON) or your transactions (CSV) at any time. Your phone’s share sheet lets you decide where the file goes — Files, AirDrop, email, anywhere. Restoring a backup on a new phone takes one import. Numari never sends a backup anywhere on its own.

Which languages and currencies are supported?

Ten languages, including right-to-left Arabic. Budgets and spending work in multiple currencies; automatic conversion uses the optional live-rates feature, which stays off unless you turn it on.

Keep your money where it belongs.
